Evening Rovinj Batana Cruise. Embark on your cruise on a traditional Batana boat from the old town pier and sail along the historical part of Rovinj. The highlight of the cruise will be the wonderful self-taught singers called Bitinadori, singing for you from a boat in the middle of the sea* (weather permitted).
Dinner at Spacio Matika. This traditional village meeting point was once the place for locals to taste and trade wine, play games, and sing. Enjoy local wines and olive oil with fabulous fish and seafood caught by local fishermen.
Pula Walking Tour & Olive Oil Discovery. The city is best known for its many surviving ancient Roman buildings, the most famous of which is its 1st-century amphitheater, the sixth largest in the world. In the nearby village of Vodnjan, the group will enjoy an olive oil tasting experience at the Chiavalon family farm. Their olive oil is listed among the world’s top 15 olive oils.
Histria Aromatica Tour. Enjoy a guided tour through plantations and garden promenades with Mediterranean autochthonous plants and aromatic herbs, olive groves, vineyards, and orchards. Learn about using various plant species as food, medicine, and cosmetics throughout centuries. After the tour, enjoy a refreshment and a dessert made from fresh and seasonal ingredients.
Dinner at Meneghetti (slow food + wine pairing). Truly one of Croatia’s finest vineyards, Meneghetti will wow guests with its rustic yet luxury design. After enjoying a welcome drink and canapes under the stars, it’s time to enjoy a three-course meal from the restaurant’s renowned kitchen. Each course will be expertly paired with Meneghetti’s famous wines.
Motovun Visit. Motovun is an astonishing architectural landmark. This hilltop town has preserved its medieval ambiance in its narrow streets within the town walls which have been preserved in their entire length. Walk along Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance buildings to the main square dominated by the 13th-century belfry of St. Stephen’s church. This guided tour will provide endless picture perfect opportunities.
Karlic Family Truffle Hunting Experience. Join the family that originated the tradition of truffle hunting in Istria. Begin with a tasting of wonderful truffle products, then led by specially trained dogs through the famous Motovun forests, experience the adventure of hunting for black and precious white truffles. Misal Winery Tour & Tractor Factory. One of the most interesting new wineries in Istria, Misal Winery is a family-owned business following their family’s centuriesold wine-making tradition. Visit the winery and find out how how to pair their sparkling wine with food. The second part of this program takes guests to Tractor Story, a collection of 50 tractors dating back to 1923. Learn all about their history and use in agricultural fields in Istria and the important role they play.
Parenzana Wine & Truffle Trail By Bike. The Parenzana biking trail got its name from the famous railroad that connected Istria with the heartland of AustriaHungary. The diversity of plant and wildlife in the lush forests will take you back to another time, and passages cut into massive rocks and deep chasms will remind you of nature’s magnificence, and leave no one with a sense of indifference.
Farewell Dinner at Jurlinovi Dvori. Gastronomy at the Jurlinovi Dvori estate offers autochthonous Primosten food: chickpea soup, bread baked in a traditional oven, prosciutto, sheep’s cheese, octopus baked under a metal bell. Guests are treated to a soup cooking demonstration for a better insight into local cuisine. This is the ultimate traditional meal experience in the blissful surroundings of an old stone village.
