Excursion program:

15:00 - Walking tour in Kamianets-Podilskyi along its old part. You will see the Novoplanovsky Bridge, the Town Hall, the Polish Magistrate, the Triumphal Arch, the Orthodox Church of Peter and Paul, the Turkish Bastion, the Wind Gate, the first commercial bank in Podillia, the Dominican Church, the Pototsky House.

Kamianets-Podilskyi is considered the third town in the country in terms of the number of architectural monuments. The city, which at different times was a part of different states: the Galicia-Volyn principality, Lithuania, Poland, Turkey, and the Russian Empire. And this certainly left a significant imprint on its history and architecture.

The center of city life was Market Square. Of course, there are several markets in the city, but the main one - the Polish Market - the building of the town hall has been preserved. The town hall of Kamianets-Podilskyi is considered the oldest in Ukraine. It consists of a two-floor council building and an eight-floor clock tower. The building was originally Gothic, but over time, a wide variety of architectural styles have been influenced it. A rectangular tower was added to the town hall and two bells were installed, decorated with a mechanical clock, which still operates.

In the northwestern part of the Polish market, on the site of the present square, there was the Cathedral Square. Its name comes from the nearby Church of St. Peter and Paul - famous for its frescoes by Giovanni Sampini, a Turkish minaret with a golden figurine of the Virgin Mary, a stone Laura, and a unique organ with 972 pipes. The architectural ensemble includes the Peter and Paul Cathedral, a bell tower, a triumphal gate, and a Turkish minaret. There are features of Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Gothic architecture.

Nicholas Church is one of the oldest Armenian buildings in the city. Church of St. Nicholas was a small structure with strong and thick walls, standing in the very center of a small courtyard, and barely visible behind the surrounding walls. It has three vestries and a choir. The thickness of the walls of the temple reaches one and a half meters. The image of the building is complemented by loopholes and powerful buttresses supporting the walls. In one of the buttresses, there is a traditional Armenian stone cross - a khachkar. At the end of the 18th century, a bell tower was added to the western facade of the temple. At the end of the 19th century, a narthex was added to the building, the vault and walls were reinforced with iron braces, and stone fences with walkways were built on both sides of the temple. A belfry was erected at the entrance to the church territory

18:00 - Then we go on an excursion to the Museum "Old Fortress" - this is one of the seven wonders of Ukraine. You will see the Russian Gate, Turkish Bridge, and much more. Will hear many amazing stories about them.

Kamianets-Podilskyi castle belongs to the seven wonders of Ukraine. The castle is remote from the city with a big undeveloped area. This gap is made on purpose to prevent the destruction of the city in case of an enemy attack. The Armenian bastion serves as an intermediate defense link. It was built in the shape of an open hexagon, it reaches up to 12 meters in height. Its main purpose is to protect the bridge, both Russian and Polish estates. In the 18th century, it was named "Bastion of St. Teresa" or "Big Rondel''. The fortress is the key to Kamianets-Podilskyi. Located on a rocky ledge, it blocks access to the city. The canyon, which surrounds the old city, is 100 to 300 meters wide and 30-40 meters high, does not allow the enemy to dig or mine.

In the evening, when the lights turn on, the impregnable fortress takes on a special charm, turning into a fairytale castle. This moment is definitely worth being shot on camera. After the excursion and photo, we go back to the hotel.

21:00 - Overnight at the hotel.
