Girona and Figueres full-day tour. Girona, located 99 km north from Barcelona, is the capital of the "Costa Brava". This historic town has more than 70,000 inhabitants and it is thought to have been founded by Greek colonists. The old quarter is one of the most beautiful in Catalonia and has one of the most interesting Jewish quarters.
Rocambolesc ice cream. The Rocambolesc project starts from the willingness of the world famous chef Jordi Roca to recover the traditional dessert cart of El Celler de Can Roca which had disappeared from the restaurant's room just when he took care of the sweet part of the menu. When they saw the new petits fours' cart designed by Andreu Carulla, the Roca brothers imagined that would be fun to walk the streets of Girona offering this sweets itinerantly. The idea was exhilarating, but they found the constraints of municipal regulations, so they chose to park the cart at a centric establishment of the town: thus was born Rocambolesc.
Lunch at Torre Bonica Restaurant (Girona). An old Catalan farmhouse from the 16th century located in the outskirts of Girona. A farmhouse with dierent spaces, between them a patio with a very pleasant terrace very nice for celebrations and nice evenings. Dali Museum. Figueras is the place where the Salvador Dalí (19041989) museum is located. Inaugurated in 1974, the Museum-Theater Dalí was built on the ancient ruins of the old theater of the city and holds the largest collection of Dali’s masterpieces, showing his development as a surrealist artist, from his rst paintings, through those at the end of his life.
