Sweden is a cold Scandinavian country with amazing history and culture, famous for the enchanting beauty of its nature. The picturesque coast and calm islands of the country give it even more charm, attracting many visitors. The magnificent hiking trails and exotic wild landscapes of the country give tourists a lot of unforgettable experiences. This is a cool breeze from the Baltic Sea, which rises higher and higher into mountain forests, where it is filled with the aroma of needles and spicy herbs, which have absorbed all the power of a generous Scandinavian summer. This is the unique Northern Lights in winter and white nights in summer. These are cities that amaze with their medieval grandeur, countless canals and gateways carved into the rocks.

Sweden has excellent national parks. The most interesting reserves are located in the mountains in the north of the country, where, away from industrial centres, you can enjoy the splendour of unspoiled nature. Mountains dominate in the northwest. Sweden's unique natural attractions are also located in the central part of the country. The coastal line of more southern regions is adorned with millions of skerry islets. These islands create a unique landscape called "water cut by the ground." It will also be interesting for adorers of ancient architecture in Sweden. There are 1.400 historical fortresses, 2.500 runic monuments in the open air, 25.000 guarded burials of the Iron Age. On the territory of Stockholm alone and the surrounding areas, there are 10 royal castles.

Stockholm is a city with a history spanning more than seven centuries, filled with twisting cobblestone pavements on medieval streets, and marble, glass and granite of high-rise buildings in the business centre. It is a city of serenity, beautiful buildings, countless shopping opportunities and an abundance of attractions. No other European capital can boast such spectacular scenery as Stockholm, with its 24 thousand islands and reefs of various sizes. More recently, it carried the spirit of provincialism, and now it is an alive, vibrant and active city with a rich nightlife and excellent restaurants, with a sophisticated and enlightened population and a high standard of living.

Gothenburg, Sweden's main seaport, is located on the rocky west coast, and it is notable for its picturesque landscape. There are many elegant buildings, restaurants, museums, night clubs and an endless line of shops. To the north of Gothenburg, you can find quiet fishing harbours surrounded by cliffs and coastal islands, where the inhabitants of the city come to relax in the summer. Malmö in the south-west of Sweden boasts one of the most attractive medieval centres in Europe, and the city can serve as a good starting point for exploring the ancient university of Lund, the 12th-century Romanesque cathedral, medieval streets and numerous museums.

The tourism sector is very developed in Sweden: a wide network of hotels, many tourist programs, and infrastructure of the highest class. Business trips have a high share in the total mass of tourists because from an economic point of view Sweden is a very versatile, reliable and profitable partner. Mining, metallurgy, engineering, woodworking and the energy sector form the basis of the Swedish economy. The products of aircraft, shipbuilding, automotive, electrical engineering, components and assemblies are characterized by a high quality, like all other goods manufactured in Sweden. The economy is mainly export-oriented, therefore international relations are extremely important for Sweden: numerous international forums and conferences, congresses and exhibitions, meetings and negotiations are held. The host creates the most favourable conditions throughout the country.

Swedish entrepreneurs are incredibly punctual and tactful. However, they like to talk if the conversation is worth it. Swedes do not like to show their social status with expensive paraphernalia.
